Tim O'Connor

As Head of Leasing Advisory for Australia & New Zealand and a member of JLL's Global Office Leasing Board, I am responsible for the strategic direction of our integrated approach to deliver exceptional outcomes for our clients. In collaboration with our transaction teams across the office, logistics, and industrial sectors, as well as our specialist Research and Strategic Consulting teams, we provide guidance to both landlords and tenants in navigating the complexities of leasing markets.

My tenure at JLL began in 2011 as Head of NSW Leasing, before progressing to Head of Leasing for Australia in 2013. Throughout my 15-year journey with JLL in Australia, I have worked with key institutional clients, including Lendlease, Charter Hall, Dexus, The GPT Group, Mirvac, and Cbus, on leasing major existing assets and office developments.

My professional journey commenced in Sydney in 1995, followed by a decade-long stint in Asia from 2001, where I was based in Hong Kong and Shanghai. During this period, I worked on major office developments for clients such as Sun Hung Kai, AIG, Henderson Land, and Swire Properties. Concurrently, I represented prominent corporate occupiers, including Société Générale, New Balance, and Bain & Company.
